For A Good Koss is proud to have a program expense ratio of 91%, vastly exceeding the non-profit objective of 80%. We strive to ensure that as much of our funds as possible goes where it is needed most: to the kids who participate in our events or receive our music scholarships.

Music scholarships are our largest expenditure, with 57% of our funds directed towards kids in need to allow them to experience the joy and benefits of music. Our educational events are our next highest expense, with 23% of our funds used to stage free learning events for children. Lastly, during the pandemic we gave funds to other non-profits who were able to operate during the national emergency. These funds comprise approximately 11% of our aggregate expenses.

Our current goal each year is to award $2,500 in scholarships provided that we have sufficient funds to do so. Over our six year existence, we have awarded a total of $10,500 in music scholarships to children across the country.
